Aya Sasaki is a quiet young lady who happens to be an assistant of sorts to one of the original Digidestined, and is the acting leader of the Winged Heralds. Though she now studies the apocalyptic threat that the other seven had once beaten back, she never got to see the horror in full. It's because of this...inexperience that Aya is so driven to progress humanity further for the inevitability of this creature's return. After all, if all her friends say this thing's so terrible, then you'd need to be able to beat it. You beat it by progressing beyond it.[break][break]

Despite the dubious nature of her motivations, Aya does have good in mind. Yet, she's also the kind of person who'd be willing to do anything for the greater good. Emphasis on anything. Like the other leaders, she bears a strong will and a determination capable of rivaling a train engine going up a mountain. While the ideas of fame as well as renown exist to her, and do hold some significance, they do pale in comparison to what she views as the proper threat and the goal to work towards. She's also a team player, as well as one to encourage cooperation/diplomacy when needed, though if provoked she can and will resort to...other solutions. Noodle knows what those usually entail.

Believing themselves to be the harbingers of mankind's rebirth, the Winged Heralds' virulent benefactor has unlocked the bizarre ability to convert digital energy into a suitable instrument of their will. Once per turn, the trait holder may render a card from their Online Deck offline to conjure an ephemeral weapon of their choosing, using the raw data gained from the card as material. These weapons are always Neutral affinity, inflicts moderate damage as if it were a Digimon of the Rookie level, and have a duration equal to the number of online cards remaining in their Online Deck. Creating a new weapon replaces the old one.
