[Performing the faction mission "No Stress"]
"Hyde? Are you sure you should be drinking that now?" said Teach, the little Pawnchessmon, as he walked alongside his tamer, the tall and lanky, one eyed man known as Nicholas Hyde. The man in question was finishing up a bottle of alcohol he had purchased earlier, as the pair of them were walking towards the large estate, where their faction, the Maddened Royals, were hosting another of their high life parties. Hyde gulped down the last of the booze, before tossing the bottle into a nearby garbage can. He looked down at his partner with a drunken smile on his face. "Teach, buddy, everyone knows for an event like this, pregaming is absolutely called for. I never walk into a fun time unprepared."
Teach rolled his eyes behind his visor. That was the third bottle Hyde had consumed in the last few hours. Normal people pregamed. Hyde made sure he was constantly swimming in alcohol. Still, Hyde did seem capable of thinking rationally while he was drunk. It was better than seeing him sober anyway. He would keep by him regardless. Someone had to make sure the group's hype man didn't get into a fight with anyone. This would include those from the upper echelons of the city after all. No sense in causing a scandal.
As the pair approached the building, the two bouncers by the door eyed the one eyed drunk as he approached. They had seen this all before, and as a member of the Maddened Royals, they had no choice but to let him in. Teach sympathized. He gave the two bouncers a nod, a silent reassurance that he would keep Hyde on a leash. Meanwhile, the lanky alcoholic gave them a lopsides salute before swaggering through the door.
This was going to be a long evening.

Post by Kimura Kyoryoku on Dec 24, 2018 2:39:24 GMT
Yet another one of the large and luxurious parties hosted by Kimura Kyoryoku, as expected for a summer weekend in Tokyo. That's what he was known for, among the other equal parts to his fame. Although everyone knows exactly who hosts it, its ran under the name of their faction, aiming to increase their already substantial presence. The more that people enjoy their parties, the more support they have in the future to further their ambitions. That's how it'd been working since the last ten years, continue to recruit through wild and outlandish events. Tonight was absolutely no different from any of those other parties.
It's also more than expected that people from within the Royals attend, for the sake of solidarity. Most of these people had already entered their domain under the pretense of enjoying the festivities. Not like it was enforced for them to come, just another arbitrary sign of fraternity within their ranks. Always encourage to be here, invited without any cover charge to be asked of them. Not like they were really losing money on drinks poured. They'd lose more money on any digimon-based incidents than any involving alcohol. That's why bouncers warn for digimon above 20kg are to be kept in a specific room.
Of course, you could always ignore these rules, it was dark enough to really not pay attention to some of them. Depends on if you want to risk the consequences of being where all the 'normal' people were while you had your extraordinary partner tag along. Nothing also stops any of the tamers from entering the digimon-only section, they weren't exactly cruel; Just cautionary. May not find as many people, but it could still be considered an enjoyable time. Really asks the question of what you value more: the reality many others experience or the one you've been selected for?
Either way, the inside of the dancehall was crowded with people, many of them dancing with their friends or simply doing what they want. Such was the joy of drugs and alcohol, you take yourself to another dimension where the human state is altered. Similarly was Kimura Kyoryoku who was also enjoying himself among the others that may or may not have drank a little too much tonight. What did you expect him to do, keep his composure and just stay away from the lifestyle he built? No, he was very much a part of the madness that ensued as the DJ continued to spin records. There were no plans on stopping any time soon, so may as well have fun while you can.
"YEAH BABY! UH, MEMBERS ONLY, BABY! I'M WITH RYAN SANTAN IN THE MOTHERFUCKIN' BOOTH!"
And there it was, one of the more entertaining events of the night. You could hear quite a few people losing their minds as the hype continued to build as the lyrics and sound entered their heads. This also lead to people pushing and shoving each other out of the way to create a 'pit', if you will. Grown men and women literally pulling each other away from a certain place in order to create their circular divide on the dance floor, barred by their arms from entering. All in preparation for a certain point where the entire purpose would explode into its fullblown lunacy. Such actions were even encouraged by the despot of the Royals; He, himself, could be seen on the edge, trying to widen the berth of their 'pit'.
"YEAH BABY! I GOT BLOOD ON MY BOOTS, BABY! YEAH BABY!"
As the tension continued to build, so did people continue to push and pull each other to expand this area as much as humanly possible. There would always be those people who were genuinely disgusted by the display, but it's not like they were required to join in. Unless they were pulled it by the sheer force of the collison that was about to occur, some people finding it hard to hold the line with that much physical energy bouncing back and forth. They were just biding time, people coming and going in the decision of who was to invite themselves into what was ultimately a little game for all involved. This, ladies and gentleman, was quite a normal occassion for all involved; It's not like they haven't seen a moshpit before. This one was a bit grand for the party, but that's probably because it was just the start of the night.

Now THIS was Hyde's kind of party. Booze, drugs, thumping music, and people grinding and bouncing with the ever growing energy of the place. When one thought of parties of high stature, they would have thought cocktails and nice suits. That wasn't how the royals did their thing though. It was as much fun as possible, even if it wrecked your body afterwards. Save the morning after for, well, the morning after. Hyde let out a laugh as he saw the roaring party.
"Now this is more like it!" he laughed out load. It had been a while since he attended a good party. Leave it up to his fellow royals to through The party of the century. As the music picked up, Hyde could see the 'pit' forming in the middle of the dance floor. A mosh pit! Hyde was wise to get himself drunk before coming here. These sorts of things were always best when one was excited and drunk out of there mind.
With a laugh, and before his partner could stop him, Hyde charged towards the growing pit, laughing as he lept into the air, trying to fly over the people around the edge and land on the people in the middle. He was...somewhat successful, as he ended up crashing into the people around the edge, sending several people to the floor, laughing. No matter. It was still fun!
And even better, one of the people turned out to be a familiar face.
"Hey there boss!" Hyde chuckled as he climbed to his feet, reaching down to help pull the faction leader to his feet. At that point, Teach finally caught up with his partner. "S-Sir! Are you ok?"

Preparations were almost done, now it was left to wait for the bass to fully kick off. Once that happened, people would feel the need to fling their bodies straight through one another. The thrill of physical exertion, ultimately numbed by an 'antidote' of your choice. Honestly made you feel physically invulnerable, doing stunts that you wouldn't dare sober sometimes. Like what this one degenerate did, literally flopping into the crowd and toppling a few people without any fair warnings. Yeah, like that wouldn't piss off a couple of people tonight.
One of them had been the leader himself, which seemed as though it was his aim, seeing as a greeting was exchanged. Nice to know that his faction members can recognize him, but maybe this one should have a little more respect for him and the rest of the people here. It's your choice to have no respect for your body, but a bit of a dick move to have that same amount for other people. Of course, it's not like Kimura would get mad-- there were much better things to do than that. Besides, he was already helping him up, keeping hold of the tall foreigners hand as pushed himself to his feet.
"YEAH BABY! THROW THAT ASS BACKWARDS ON A TRICYCLE, BABY! YEAH!"
And there it was, the moment everyone was waiting for. There's a reason the liege of madness held onto his hand, which became easily revealed the second the next few lyrics were blasted out from the speakers. For the few seconds before, it all looked like he was just shaking his hand and returning the greeting; Something quite a few members felt special receiving. These days, their organization was far too big for him to recognize every face that walked through the doors on their personal invite. There was a person whose job was to ask all these people to come, there were better things on Kimura's mind when it came to these parties.
"FUCKED UP! FUCKED UP! FUCKED UP! FUCKED UP!"
Once those words were shouted through the intense bass, the room felt like a localized earthquake. The vibrations of the music just caused your body to shake, along with the frenetic energy of people rushing into the 'pit'. It was a little unusual that the King wouldn't yet involve himself, but like we said earlier: there's a reason for that. He would turn on the ball of his foot and take a step back, extending his arm in the process. With a quick whip of his shoulder, Kimura would swiftly make Hyde enter the mosh. With the unexpected trade of force, he'd probably have pushed him in pretty far, possibly bowling over a few people by using his lanky body.
Kimura joined right after, enjoying the chaos he was creating with his body and anyone else's. Getting in the way wasn't a good choice of action, especially if you weren't ready for it. Many just jumped in without much of a clear idea of what they were doing, but that wasn't important in the slightest. The important thing was having fun, which was exactly how he felt about the whole thing. He had fun pushing in the foreigner and had fun fighting his way to the middle, bashing other with his forearms or shoulders, getting them right out of his way and gaining further momentum through everyone else's movements.

Fortunately, it didn't seem like Kimura was angry that Hyde had accidentally tackled him to the ground, much to Teach's relief. After all, Kimura was the leader of the faction, and despite Hyde being the group's unofficial hype man, he still ultimately answered to him, and the group was the main thing supporting Hyde's rather outlandish lifestyle.
Well, whatever misgivings, or lack thereof, that the pair had, was completely swallowed up when the mosh pit broke into full swing. Hyde let out a loud laugh as he dove into the chaotic pile of bodies, bouncing around and immediately throwing himself against everyone around him. The mosh pit, a place where people can truly cut loose and throw themselves around like idiots, with little repercussions. Well, except for some bruising afterwards.
And Teach was not immune. As he tried to follow his partner, the PawnChessmon got caught up in the chaos. With his smaller, lighter body, the little puppet digimon was thrown around, almost like a doll. Thank goodness he had left his shield and spear at the door. Hyde couldn't help but laugh as his partner was bounced around, screaming all the while.
