So, it had finally happened. The growing tensions between the Winged Heralds and the Maddened Royals had finally boiled over. Granted, they were the ones that had started the fight to begin with, but those Heralds needed to lighten up. Always going on about human evolution, worshiping Virus, it was enough to make Hyde sick.
And so, here they were. Hyde and Teach, walking down the street in Odaiba. The territory the two factions were fighting over. Hyde needed to keep his wits about him. There could be a Herald around any corner, waiting to ambush him. Because of that, he had only one bottle of beer this morning. As such. Hyde was practically sober. It was a rare sight for his partner, Teach. Hyde's remaining eye was steeled, looking around as they walked down the street.
"You think anyone's going to challenge us?" Teach asked. Hyde gave a small nod. "We're at war, and in hostile territory to boot. It's practically inevitable." It was hard to tell whether that would be a good thing or not. It would be one step closer to the Royal's victory. But then again, they had heard of what the Heralds could do.
