"Calling all Heralds. All Heralds."
She was crazy. She must want to get killed. She must have, to be doing what she was doing. Yet here she was, raising her Digivice to her lips, and talking to whoever would listen. Her radio was broadcasting randomly, whatever was nearby was probably delivering her message to anyone with a similar device. So she talked.
"I'm a Royal. You probably haven't heard of me." Her hands were shaking, "But I have, and I'm not impressed." She was really shaking, out of excitement or fear, maybe they were mingling in the storm that was her mind, "I can beat you, the Royals can beat you, and I decided to give you a little warning." She could hear the occasional scream in the air, fights were already breaking out.
"Find me now. Or I find you. Come and get me, you fakes." The Digivice was lowered, her teeth gleaming white in the dim lighting of electricity crackling from Gnaw's maw. "Come on, you can have fun now. The king started this, let's finish it for him." The streets were suspiciously empty, Kaida knew it was anything but, and walked forward, Digimon at her feet.
War was, in the end, a series of battles, and she intended to win hers.
(Tell me whether you'd like to fight freeform or wagered!)

"Well, someone's certainly rowdy." came a certain, slightly slurred and accented voice. Out of a nearby alleyway stepped a tall, lanky man with an eyepatch, accompanied by what appeared to be a PawnChessmon Black. A recognizable face amongst the royals. Mr. Hype himself, Nicholas Hyde. The lanky man gave the woman a small smirk.
"Gotta admit, love the enthusiasm. But it seems the Heralds aren't really willing to come out and play. All their talk about human evolution and worshipping Virus, and when push comes to shove, they hide." There was a strong hint of disgust in the tall man's voice. Needless to say, out of all the factions in the city, the Winged Heralds were a group he absolutely DESPISED. Why, well, he didn't really talk about it.
Hyde swaggered over towards Kaida, a knowing smirk on his face. "But, I think I have an idea on how to get them to come out. They're all about their faith and holy grounds and all that junk. I think, if we're going to get them out here, we just need to piss them off enough. So, who's up for some good, old fashioned desecration?"

At the sudden voice, Kaida froze momentarily and Gnaw bared its teeth, but both relaxed at the honestly recognizable face. Despite her usual dislike of the substance, she actually gave a toothless smile at her fellow Royal. She seemed to enjoy the thought of an ally that actually put himself in the incredibly dangerous situation that was this explosive situation. If one had to drink liquid fire to get through it, she couldn't shame the action. Her face twisted back down to a frown as her ally talked, and she snorted in irritation. " So it's like fighting rats, I hope they fight as hard as rats." She grumbled, holding up her Digivice as she listened to Hyde's plan. This time, her smile was full of teeth, a fine match to the terrible jagged teeth that were her Digimon's. " If they don't want to fight, I have to put my energy into something." She drawled, holding up the Digivice and switching on the radio again, " Its fine, you know. I'm not unreasonable. You don't want to lose people. We'll take some things instead." She kept her meaning vague, better to let them fear what they'd do. The radio was shut off, and curious eyes turned on Hyde. " What do we destroy? I don't really pay attention to what they like." Hyde rose an eyebrow as the woman basically broadcasted their intentions out to anyone who would hear it. Well, he could understand the reasoning behind it, but at the same time, Hyde would have just started wrecking stuff. This just gave the Heralds time to prepare, instead of catching them by surprise and effectively pissing them off. Well, whatever. It'll end the same anyway, provided the Heralds actually cared about their stuff.
Hyde gave a small shrug. "They're a bunch of fanatics that worship Virus and are more than happy to experiment on themselves. My guess is they have some places of worship, or labs, or something like that around here. I suggest we find them and wreck them. If nothing else, it should screw up their operations." Teach looked up at his partner, a little bit surprised. Despite the constant drinking, Hyde could prove to be surprisingly strategic in his thinking.
Hyde looked around, taking in their surroundings. "Now the issue is just finding them. The places of worship might be one thing, but something tells me any labs or anything would be quite hidden. Would screw up their rep if word of that shit got out."

Receiving the message on the digivice was a bit of a surprise to Cain, he didn't really expect to hear such a thing from one of the maddened royals. At the same time, it was the maddened royals, the very same people that tried to disgrace the winged herald's way of life and meaning. The didn't understand how great the mission was, or how they were the true chosen ones to protect even the most ungrateful of the human race from the viruses inevitable return. But this was worse than ignorance from a nonbeliever, the maddened royals decided to lay their arms against Cain and the rest of his comrades.
"As a priest of the winged herald, it would be unwise for this to go unanswered. "
As he headed over to the location of the transmission with Silas on his shoulder, Cain continued to get pestered by the many questions that Silas had in regards to what they were going to do.
"We are going to fight, if left to their own devices, they might start destroying our place of worship. That is one thing that we should avoid happening Silas. It might get dangerous, but I understand if you want to run away."
However, Silas refused.
"No, it's better for us to be together than alone. Those ruffians are going to get a taste of their own medicine. "
With a pat on the head, Cain continued to track the signal as he headed on over to his destination.
"I don't think you have to look that hard, royal scum. Fortunately, I, priest Cain, am willing to listen to the admittance of your sins. War against our ultimate purpose of saving mankind, a pathetic team with nothing better to do with themselves. "
Cain was here, and he was ready.
(Anything is fine with me really, i'm guessing it's 2v1?)
