[attr="class","prodigi_box"] OVERVIEW [attr="class","prodigi_text"][break] ღ The world can be a scary place if we let our paths be predetermined. It is not the change that is able to define us. Sometimes, it is just knowing that you have the power to make that change that is enough to set your stage. Amaya Hirata was born the youngest of three children to a middle class family within Kyoto, Japan. Her mother, a prosperous performer and cafe owner and her father, an active military officer, saw nothing but the best for their only daughter and practically sheltered her from the world. She was considered fine china of the household. A pretty object to keep incased. If she was not in daycare or the cafe, she was at home continuing her studies. ღ Amaya was known to be the curious soul. As a child, she would often allow this curiosity to get the better of her allowing her to venture off on her own. Findings ways to sneak out of the cafe or her mothers dressing room and into the heavy traffic of the evening Kyoto crowd. Such a sight would easily be frightening to a small child, however, Amaya maneuvered her way through the people as if it paid her no mind. As if it were normal. It felt almost as if it were second nature to be forcing her way through the people. Planting her foot down and taking her lead. The furthest she had gone before being picked up and taken back home is approximately 5471.77 meters; or about 3 1/2 miles.[break][break] ღ In her youth, Amaya was a star student. She worked hard to ensure she would always be at the top of her class. The star of the show. She led a busy life between studies, working at the cafe, pursuing hobbies and looking to better herself for the future. It's rare to have universities scotting you just at the age of 13, it seemed all her hard work was paying off. All she needed to do was coast through life. Follow that path that her parents had set up for her and keep moving forward. That was the plan at least. Regardless of how many books she red or how many mathematical equations she could complete, it was never enough to alter fate. What her real path was.[break][break] ღ After attending a party one evening, Amaya became a victim of a drunken motor accident. Said accident causing her to spend nearly 4 months in hospitalization. Impact seemed to cause quite a deal of damage to her upper torso, neck, and head. After what felt like countless operations, Amaya was considered stable, however a severe amount of damage had already been caused. She had been diagnosed with legal blindness.[break][break] ღ Blurred colors and shady figures. For days it was all she could see. Even through the countless tears, no amount of thinking could fix this. No pity. No money. No anything. She grew heavily depressed and unmotivated to even leave her bed. She simply stared into space. Her mother practically fell apart visiting her every hour of the day trying to encourage her to smile. To move. To even speak. But nothing seemed to happen. She appeared very statue like only turning towards those who spoke to her and keeping her silence. Nurses suggested that perhaps she should start small. The first steps were always the hardest after all. Her window on the first floor was connect to the hospital garden. For a few minutes a day, the nurse prescribed to just sit and watch in hopes of improving her mood.[break][break] ღ So, she did as she was told. Hoping and praying that she would just magically begin to see again. Hoping she would notice something different. A change. In more ways than one, that change began to come. She began to notice candies being placed at the window seal from practically nowhere. She had been told that various beings would often appear in the garden here and there, however from the sight of a purple dragon-like creature, she simply accepted. Yes, this was something different. A being that Amaya had dubbed "Seshat" had become her closest friend and her motivation. Nurses would begin to burst into panics noticing the girl's curiosity began to get the best of her as she followed along with the digimon adjusting to the world around her. This new path seemed so familiar and yet it was a path she had made her own. It was destined. They would look after one another and be the muse to their day to day. [break][break] ღ Amaya, who seemingly had been defeated by a set back in her fate, had becoming the rising star that she had been destined to be. All she needed was a little guidance. After being sought out for by the Royals, she began to join their numbers in hopes of finding the next path of life. To better her freedom. She quickly noticed that that she seemed to stick out like a sore thumb among the others. However, through her quiet demeanor held a passion. A passion to not be told what to do. What was safe. How her disability would control her future. She was the queen of her own destiny and wouldn't let anything stand in her way.
