RANKS

The mind rebels at stagnation, and it is the greatest enemy of progress. Whether your character is a human being or a Digimon, a Tamer with a Digivice or a wild one that lacks the luxury of a human partner, it can be said with utmost certainty that one should always strive for greater heights whenever possible, and seek to push beyond the limits of the self. 

Encouraged by this philosophy, we at PRODIGIOUS™ encourage our members to develop and build their characters to their utmost potential – rest assured, their efforts will not go unrecognized, nor unrewarded.

Regardless if your character is a human or a Digimon, they are each measured by a series of denominations that PRODIGIOUS™ calls "Ranks", which are achieved when the character accrues specific milestones in their total number of posts on the forum's game world.

These Ranks are named as follows: Newcomer, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. Their total post counts are listed below:

Newcomer: 0 posts
Beginner: 10 posts
Intermediate: 100 posts
Advanced: 1,000 posts
Expert: 3,000 posts

When a character's account reaches a certain threshold of posts, it is automatically endowed with a welcome sum of 1,000 Bits for them to spend at their discretion on the Dark Network.

But it doesn't stop here: this payout is also a little reminder that they qualify for a "Rank-Up Package", a series of additional gifts which you must personally place a claim for proper redemption in the Notifications Thread, upon which a PRODIGIOUS™ staff member will "Like" your post and award the character with a bonus package of extra bits, a free Ability Driver, and special Digi-Modify cards or Booster Packs.

Note, however, that the item gifts provided through a Rank-Up Package must be redeemed upon being claimed and cannot be saved for a later date; furthermore, a Booster Pack earned through a Rank-Up Package must be opened in the Card Redemption thread, and the Ability Driver must be used in the Analyzer Edits page.

More importantly, it is claimed that some areas of the Digital World cannot be accessed by traditional conventions and channels unless a character has acquired a specific Rank in the game, thereby serving as a way to express these individuals to other players as a successful and well-established part of the PRODIGIOUS™ experience.
