• As a child, Rena was a slacker and troublemaker. She never went as far to hurt others, but was loud, obnoxious, and prone to committing acts of vandalism. She took an interest in science and art, but could never really decide which of the two subjects she liked more.[break][break]

• Growing up to a teenager, Rena began to become more involved with negative influences. Her attention seeking behavior made it easy for bullies to manipulate her and get her to do their dirty work.[break][break]

• Surprisingly, she was able to graduate from high school. Rena applied to both a nursing school and an art school, deciding that she would just go with whatever one accepted her first. Sometime during the Summer after graduation, she fell in love with a young delinquent named Ryuji, and quickly formed a relationship with him.

• Rena was soon kicked out of her parent's place after getting in trouble with the police after participating in spray-painting a local gas station with a few friends. After this, she moved in with her boyfriend. At first, it was paradise, she didn't have to tell with her mom or dad, which gave her extra time with Ryuji and her studies.[break][break]

• She was accepted into nursing school first, which she attended for a solid four months before dropping out. Her relationship had begun to grow extremely toxic, with her boyfriend monitoring her every move and mentally and physically abusing her. More and more of his friends began to hang around, and it became apparent that they had all joined a local gang called "the Maddened Royals." She too, was eventually roped into this group, spending more time committing crimes, mostly due to threats, and it did help take a little stress out. [break][break]

• Rena began to attempt to rebound by finally attending art school, too embarrassed to go back to nursing. During this time, unfortunately, her gang activities picked up, and she caught a serious addiction to cocaine. It was the only thing that made her feel at least somewhat happy at the time, and the habit continues to this day.[break][break]

• Her boyfriend, now tired of her and lusting after other females, had a plan with his friends to frame her and gain more fame within the Royals. They had found the location of another gang-leader, Yūjin Inazuma . They didn't know much about him, but talked him up to Rena as a notorious arms-dealer who wasn't afraid to pull a trigger on somebody. He was tall, gruff, and full of muscle, and was said to constantly be smoking a Cuban cigar. With slight hesitation, Rena agreed to their plans.[break][break]

The plan was simple - she would be given several weapons including a revolver, a machete, an electric chainsaw, some rope, a kitchen knife, and a wood axe. She would arrive at the gang leader's residence, and murder him in cold blood. They said she had to go because nobody would ever expect a frail little girl like her to do something so horrible and so suddenly, but in reality, it was simply because they didn't want to get their hands dirty. They didn't have an escape plan for her, because they never planned for her to escape.[break][break]

When she arrived to the small apartment and faced her victim, what she saw didn't at all fit the description she was fed by her peers. He was scrawny, didn't smoke, and the apartment was fairly modest. No guns hanging around, no drugs, nothing like that at all. In fact, the place was pretty tidy and well-kept. The air was filled with the scent of air freshener and instrumental easy-listening music. The man did not fight her, even after she restrained him and set up to murder him.[break][break]

Instead, the two ended up talking, first about how she was going to drive an axe into his skull, rip his guts out with a chainsaw, or maybe just shoot him, but then about why she was doing this, how she really felt about it, and if she felt she was being lied to. It lead to an epiphany, this life of gang violence with the Royals and her current boyfriend just wasn't where she wanted to be. Rena let him go, and the two escaped before her "friends" showed up with more men and more weapons.[break][break]

• After this event, Rena never heard from Ryuji again, and stopped associating with her old comrades. She was offered a spot in the No-Namers, and graciously accepted their offer, citing that she could put her medical knowledge to use. It was soon after these events that she first came into contact with her Digivice and partner, Getsumon, both of which materialized at the same time in a dumpster. The disgusting Digimon pledged his alliance to the girl, but seems to have dirtier motives...

A FRIEND IN NEED [break]
The No-Namers might be the unspoken heroes of society in a broad sense, but they are a brotherhood above all else, offering a place to call home and people to call family for those that have had theirs stripped away. Once per thread, the trait holder may target one (1) character, regardless of their chosen faction; for the thread's duration, the targeted character is treated as if they were a No-Namer instead, they cannot target the trait holder for attacks or effects, and they have their health completely restored and all negative conditions removed.
