The name Viktor was once one which brought triumphant cheers from Anathema's soldiers. A name that shook tamers to the core and left even HYPNOS worried whenever it was brought up. A Digimon which had made a name for himself on the frontlines; a ruthless combatant who few could stand to. That is until the Battle of Aoyama stripped everything he held dear away from him. [break][break]

It started as a simple hit. A tamer and their Digimon chased into the real world. Little did Viktor and his troupe know that HYPNOS had set up camp in the area, watching for any anomalies and readying to test their latest prototype weaponry. In an instant the remainder of the Ultimate-level Digimon's group was engulfed in a blinding light, and as he leaped to his own safety... He could feel the strength within him, accumulated from countless victories, drain. His very digital essence being ripped from him, he could only imagine the pain those caught within the device's blast radius felt. Where there once stood five, there was only one. And he was only a Rookie now.[break][break]

His only method of survival clear, Viktor did what no member of Anathema should: He fled. Though he would later explain that he only did so in order to warn Lanius of the humans' latest threat to them. Somehow, by some stroke of luck, his sin of saving his own hide was ignored in favor of focus on the larger problem, but no one would forget or ever let him live this down.[break][break]

Viktor had only one choice now... He had to reclaim what was once his. By any means necessary. And damn any human who stood between him and ultimate power.
